Orthodontics in Princeton TX
A beautiful smile gives you the confidence to achieve your goals. Hello Dental is proud to offer orthodontic services for both adults and children as part of our comprehensive dental services.
Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that focuses on straightening teeth and correcting the bite for better function and esthetics.
It is a benefit for our patients to have their orthodontic treatment done at our office as then we’re also able to closely monitor home care and oral health throughout treatment. Imagine the convenience of being able to get your child’s braces adjusted and teeth cleaned all during one visit to our office!
Many children can benefit from starting orthodontics at an earlier age, such as 7 or 8 years old. Early intervention gives us the opportunity to capitalize on your child’s growth to avoid issues in the future such as severe crowding or malocclusion, which is a bite misalignment such as an under bite or cross bite. Using certain appliances early on can often help make orthodontic treatment in the future easier and more efficient.
We will monitor your child’s oral development closely during their routine cleaning and checkup appointments and make you aware of any concerns that might warrant early orthodontic intervention.
Traditional orthodontics utilizes brackets and wires to align your teeth and correct your bite. Braces are the best way to ensure that your bite is aligned properly. You will need to have your braces adjusted every few weeks to allow the appropriate movement to continue.
For our patients who are concerned about esthetics, we want to let you know that today’s braces don’t necessarily have to be comprised of metal. We have access to brackets and wires made from clear materials to help align your teeth with more discretion.
For adult or teen patients who need minimal alignment and no bite correction, systems such as ClearCorrect or Invisalign may be ideal. Dr. Cho and Dr. Kang can determine if these options are right for your needs during a thorough examination of your teeth.
These systems use removable clear plastic trays to apply gentle pressure and gradually move your teeth. Because the aligners are removable, there are no restrictions to your diet or changes to your home care routine. You remove the aligners for eating, brushing, and flossing. Aligners are also designed to provide a snug fit so they won’t interfere with your normal daily activities.

Straightening your teeth benefits your oral health as much as it does your confidence. Misaligned teeth can be harder to keep clean, and a bite that’s not aligned correctly can contribute to joint pain.
